Type ELA300 Adjustable Pivot Mounting |
The Type ELA300 adjustable pivot mounting is provided to enable the precision tilt sensors type ELH100 or ELH101 to be bolted to a structure where a good quality reference surface is not conveniently available.The base of the ELA 300 is mounted on the structure under test, and the sensing head is set accurately to read zero with precisely adjustable jacking screws.

Subsequent movements of the structure are reflected in the change of the angle reading from its initial or datum reading of zero.
If the movement eventually exceeds the linear range of the sensing head, this datum can be recorded and reset, thus extending the range of the ELH100/101.
The standard ELA300 is made from steel with a corrosion-protecting plated finish.
For severe environments and specialist applications, the ELA300 can be supplied in Naval Brass, Aluminium Bronze or Stainless Steel. |
